We had heard a lot about an infamous southern breakfast treat called Chicken n Waffles so when Ty saw it on the menu in Austin it had to be ordered. but how would it come we wondered... a fried chicken wing on top of a waffle? or do they put the fried chicken into the waffle batter? Turns out its closer to the former. Ty's portion came out with fried chicken tenders (much more sensible than a wing! no bones!) sitting on top of a fluffy waffle, with a side of potatoe chunks, fruit salad and maple syrup. Still not sure about this combination he took a bite. The look said it all. It shouldn't work, but it so does!!
